Position:The MBA Intern will join Rockefeller Asset Management to support the sourcing, diligence, and management of direct private equity investments. This hands-on role provides exposure to investment research, portfolio management, and strategic initiatives, while collaborating closely with senior professionals. This Intern will gain experience in our investment philosophy, ESG integration, and client solutions, contributing to shaping the future of our portfolio.
Responsibilities:- Source and Evaluate Investment Opportunities:
- Assist in sourcing efforts for private equity investments and industry operators, with a focus on technology, tech-enabled services, industrial tech, and consumer sectors.
- Assist in conducting value-add diligence to build conviction to make investments and partner with industry operators.
- Structure and Execute Investment Opportunities:
- Develop proficiency in modeling and structuring of equity investments.
- Ensure successful execution of investment transactions.
- Manage Existing Investments and Execute Value Creation:
- Assist in the development of and help drive value creation initiatives.
- Collaboration and Cultural Adherence:
- Collaborate closely with other members within Rockefeller Asset Management.
- Uphold and promote our firm’s culture and values around integrity, community care and pursuing excellence.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited MBA program with a focus on Finance, Investments, or related fields.
- 3+ years of prior professional work experience in finance, consulting, or related industries.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly in written and verbal form
- Ability to work closely in a team environment
- Exhibit integrity, responsibility, empathy, enthusiasm and proactivity
- High levels of curiosity and receptivity to fresh approaches to investing
- Foreign language a plus
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $50.00/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
