About our Internship Program
Interns will have an opportunity to work with subject matter experts in financial services and learn about the industry, our members and our credit union. This is an opportunity to gain valuable insight, develop new skills, and establish a network of mentors and business contacts.
The 2026 Internship Program includes a 10 week, paid internship from June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026, and includes a wide range of opportunities that fit various majors and areas of study. Interns will have the opportunity to have hands-on experience within their work area along with collaborating cross-functionally with other interns across the organization.
Education:
- High school diploma required
- Rising college junior or senior

- Ability to think critically and problem solve

- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members and build connections within and outside of your work area
Internship Opportunities
Commercial Credit Intern:
- Review and analyze new business loan applications by evaluating financial documents, historical trends, cash flow, tax returns, tenant leases, and collateral.
- Assist with loan processing responsibilities including, but not limited to, business background research, court searches, loading applications, and booking loans.
- Assist with preparing debt service spreadsheets on borrower and guarantor/s.
- Assist the back-end portfolio team with risk management strategies.
Fraud Intern:
· Collaborate on projects to enhance secure digital communication and reduce phishing risks.
· Participate in projects aimed at improving member authentication and verification processes.
· Assist in creating educational materials for members to recognize and avoid scams.
· Administrative/support and special projects assigned by Fraud leadership.
Policies and Procedures Analyst Intern:
· Receive draft Policies and Procedures from the Process Owner(s) and ensure the format complies with applicable standards.
· Assist in the process of drafting and updating documents into company templates.
· Track document development status.
· Collaborate with reviewers to ensure process is completed timely.
Risk Management Intern:
· Assist with the review of data, forms, policy and procedure compliance and other tasks as directed
· Apply loss control problem solving by analyzing claims data to identify risk exposure and trends
· Enter data into Governance, Risk, and Compliance software as it relates to Business Continuity, Enterprise Risk Management and Vendor Management
· Assist in regular audits of security and life safety equipment and systems
Human Resources Intern:
· Provides administrative support to one or more human resources (HR) functions, including HR Business Partners, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and talent development.
· Participate in HR projects and programs as assigned
· Shadow HR Business Partners to learn more about the role and their supporting business lines. Attend relevant business line meetings, participate in employee relations as needed, and support with the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.
· Partner with Talent Development team to participate and coordinate leadership development workshops and analyze employee engagement data as appropriate.
Operations Program Management Intern:
· Conduct thorough analysis on programs and projects delivered to solicit lessons learned in order to maximize project and program efficiency
· Research and analyze user adoption metrics across systems for Deposit Account Opening (Blend), Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), and other ancillary applications that are managed within the department.
· Assist with the creation and deployment of all internal communications, as needed
· Partner with Operations Program Managers and Specialist to create necessary job aids, resources, operating manuals, huddle documents, etc. for staff education
The good faith range for these positions is $17.00 an hour.
All candidates will be subject to a background check and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
