Continuant is a Managed Services Provider and Systems Integrator, offering multi-OEM legacy support and world-class solutions for UC and AV systems. We provide A/V solutions and management for customers of all sizes but largely enterprise customers throughout the United States and distributed across the globe.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio/Visual Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing Teams/Zoom/WebEx conference room A/V solutions, writing scopes of work, and estimating project costs including labor, travel, and other related expenses.
Job Duties:
- Act as the primary technical interface to the customer identifying requirements and leading technical Q&A sessions.
- Design and customize audio/visual solutions for conference rooms and other corporate environments to meet customer, business, and technical objectives.
- Develop detailed scopes of work for AV projects. Scopes must be written in non-technical jargon for all stakeholders to understand.
- Prepare accurate estimates of labor, travel, equipment, and additional project-related costs
- Review quotes with sales teams and clients to ensure technical solutions meet client requirements and expectations
- Provide technical continuity throughout the project life cycle, supporting sales, design, and deployment phases.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partner stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and new AV technologies. InfoComm, vendor specific trainings, etc.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- inimum of 5+ years of experience in A/V sales or A/V engineering.
- Strong understanding of A/V systems design and integration.
- Experience with Dante, AES67, AVoverIP, QLAN, Network configurations, etc.
- Manufacturer experience: Qsys, Visionary Solutions, Shure, Netgear, Logitech, HP/Poly, LG, Legrand, Utelogy, etc.
- Experience with conference platforms: Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom.
- Proven ability to develop scopes of work and cost estimates that stay within budget.
- Outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective to C-level executives and IT departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field.
- CTS or CTS-D certification.
- Previous field experience with A/V installations.
- Strong knowledge of A/V hardware, software, and room control systems.
- Skilled at networking and must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous business experience preferred.
- Experience with Verkada (Access Control & Surveillance Cameras).
- Experience with Video wall/Direct View LED design.
- Familiarity working in Hubspot, DealHub, and ServiceNow.
