Job Title: Senior Manger, Finance
The Role
This role is an opportunity to join the Asset Management Board Finance Team supporting the annual contract approval process for the 600+ mutual funds and ETFs managed by Fidelity Investments and providing insights into the mutual fund/ETF competitive landscape. You will work closely with business partners throughout the organization, develop a deep understanding of Fidelity’s 40-Act products and be involved in important project-based work. The position will also include managing the day-to-day relationship with the technology team supporting Board Finance, including oversight of the pipeline for enhancements to our competitive analysis system.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
8+ years of professional experience in finance, preferably in the financial services industry
A self-motivated teammate/mentor who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
Works effectively as part of a team, and successfully collaborates with business partners
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, operating with a high degree of autonomy
Strong attention to detail accompanied by ability to manage large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy
Strong written and oral communication skills – can articulate clearly with all levels of employees
Attention to detail and the ability and desire to see the big picture
Proficiency in modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Oracle BI, Power BI); ability to grasp new technology tools/concepts quickly
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, digestible, and actionable stories
Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work

The Team
The Board Finance team provides the Fidelity Boards of Trustees the information and analysis they need to review and approve the Fidelity funds’ management and service contracts with Fidelity Investments annually. We work and have positive relationships with numerous groups throughout Fidelity to better understand Fidelity’s evolving product line-up; we help drive decisions, and we find ways to make valuable contributions. In addition to our core work of providing the Boards with competitive analysis, we engage in a wide variety of project work including new product analysis, technology improvements, process changes and other ad-hoc analysis.
