We're searching for a Technical Apps Advisor – Epic, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll develop, analyze and advise Integrated Delivery Systems and/or IS staff on technical solutions as they apply to applications across the IDS. You’ll review and provide advice on application requirements, application and processing architectures and designs. You’ll develop, amend, optimize, and certify application and system design of IDS and be responsible for the identification and resolution of the application information flow, the application integration and the required infrastructure needed to support application requirements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate new development and make sure it's consistent and well-integrated with existing information data structure
Lead and engage in business analysis, information acquisition analysis and design, data access analysis and design, archive and recovery strategy, security, and change management
Appraise effectiveness of systems flow, data usage, and manual or automated processes to identify ineffectiveness or inefficiency of the system
Identify and recommend tools and technologies using best practices/industry standards to support strategic direction and to assist in deploying appropriately business initiatives
Lead development and maintenance programming activities with management, other Information Services personnel, users, or vendors during all phases of the system life cycle
Participate in meetings concerning user consulting, systems analysis, system design, and vendor contracts
Develop documentation standards
Prepare documentation in compliance with standards
Support system operations by problem analysis and resolution development
Provide emergency support for malfunctioning systems as required 24/7
Skills & Requirements
H.S. Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree preferred
11 years of major system design and implementation experience required
Project management or project leadership experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience. Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
Direct work experience at the Epic Systems Corporation © will be counted at a premium, with everyone (1) year of Epic Systems Corporation © experience counted as two (2) years of experience
