Job Title: Contract Manager – Landscape Projects

Location: Metro Nashville Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $75,000–$87,000 annually

Metro Nashville is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to oversee municipal landscaping projects and manage all aspects of contract administration. This role blends leadership, operational oversight, and fieldwork. You will guide projects from initial consultation through final invoicing, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee landscape projects across city departments, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Manage contract administration, including budgets, specifications, and payroll processing.
• Prepare detailed estimates, scope of work documents, and purchase materials for project execution.
• Supervise subcontractors and enforce quality standards through inspections.
• Maintain working knowledge of budget analysis, labor distribution, field reports, and other pertinent records.
• Perform hands-on landscaping tasks during peak seasons.
• Ensure all projects meet customer satisfaction and forward details for invoicing.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in landscape or ground maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and regional plant suitability.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and create accurate estimates.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Certification in landscape management, experience with municipal projects, and proficiency in MS Office and HCM systems (UKG, ADP).

Work Environment:

• 90% office work (planning, documentation, payroll)
• 10% fieldwork (site visits, supervision, physical labor)
