Position Overview
Butler University’s Lacy School of Business is seeking candidates for a faculty position in Supply Chain Management and Analytics to begin in August 2026. We are interested in identifying scholars at the intersection of Modern Operations and Supply Chain Management, including potential expertise in Logistics, Quality Management, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence applied to supply chain. We welcome applications from candidates seeking the position of Tenure Track, Assistant Professor, Supply Chain Management.
Qualifications
Candidates will possess the minimum of a terminal degree, i.e. Ph.D., DBA, or JD. The ideal candidate will be able to teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a trajectory of scholarship in their areas of specialization and possess the potential and motivation to publish high-quality, impactful research in leading academic journals. Industry experience will be considered as an added value.

About the Lacy School of Business
The Lacy School of Business enrolls about 1,100 full-time undergraduates. It offers a part-time MBA program, an Online MBA program, a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program, a Master of Science in Risk and Insurance program, a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), and is accredited by AACSB International. The LSB is housed in Dugan Hall, which was recently opened in Fall 2019.
