Job Summary

SUPERINTENDENT 12-Month, Full-Time Position | Competitive Salary & Benefits Julian Charter School (JCS) is looking for a compassionate and experienced Superintendent to guide our family of charter schools into the next chapter of educational innovation and student success. Our schools serve families across Southern California through flexible home study, site-based, and alternative learning programs. We believe education is not one-size-fits-all—and we’re looking for a leader who believes the same. The Superintendent will champion our mission to empower students through choice, creativity, and connection, ensuring that each learner has access to a supportive, high-quality educational experience. Who We’re Looking For • A strategic thinker with strong leadership and collaboration skills • A communicator who can inspire and engage staff, families, and community partners • A seasoned educator with a deep understanding of curriculum, instruction, and accountability • A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic and mission-driven environment Minimum Qualifications • Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field • Valid Administrative Services Credential (or equivalent) • Demonstrated success in an administrative or executive leadership role • Strong knowledge of educational best practices, curriculum, and assessment methodologies • Proven ability to manage budgets and organizational finances • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage • Membership in CalSTRS • 228 day Calendar Year • 10 paid Vacation days / 10 paid Sick days • Supportive, mission-driven team culture and dedicated leadership community Join a community where students, families, and educators work together to create meaningful learning experiences.
