Software Engineer presso Cognizant

Cognizant’s Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Software engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

Work model:

In this role, you will:

Lead the development -Writing, testing, and debugging code.

Designing and implementing new features.

Participating in planning meetings and technical reviews.

Support deployment.

Manage production issues for resolution

What you need to have to be considered: 

Strong hands-on experience with .NET framework.

Experience in core JAVA

Proficiency in SQL Server databases.

Strong Hands-on working exp with Azure cloud services.

These will help you stand out

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $65,000- $99,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
