Santos FoundationThe Santos Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation investing in partnerships and local initiatives that help communities thrive. We work with donors and local partners to make a positive and lasting impact in communities in Papua New Guinea and are working to expand our footprint across Australia, Timor-Leste and Alaska where Santos has a presence. Our work addresses societal trends and local needs in the four key program areas of health, youth opportunities, community development, and family and sexual violence.We respect the political, cultural, social and legislative frameworks where we work, partnering to empower communities, building capacity, capability and resilience.What you’ll do:Darwin based, reporting to the Head of Strategy & Performance you will coordinate the development, implementation and ongoing management of Santos Foundation’s Community programs in the greater Darwin region. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders this role will ensure that community programs are delivered according to set strategy, budgets and timelines. Some travel to remote communities will be required.Key Accountabilities includeLeading the implementation of agreed Santos Foundation Community programsEstablishing and maintaining positive working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholdersEstablishing and maintaining good working relationships with First Nations’ stakeholders and communities ensuring respectful and culturally sensitive engagement and protocol adherenceBudget management of program budgets and ensuring accurate and timely forecastsExplore new opportunities for third party funding and or new programs that align with Santos Foundation strategic direction and community needsWhat you'll bring:Program planning, coordination, implementation and reporting experienceExperience in program budgeting and monitoringDemonstrated experience working respectfully with First Nations’ communitiesStrong communication and community engagement skills Valid Driver’s LicenceWillingness to undergo a National Police Check and obtain a Working with Children CheckIdeally, you will have delivered successful local First Nations ‘community programmes in remote regions and are comfortable in building and developing relationships that will enable the Santos Foundation to make a positive impact to the greater Darwin region. How to ApplyApplications must be submitted via the online recruitment system before Friday 28th November 2025A requirement of this role is that you will need to have in place the legal work rights for Australia to apply.Supporting a Diverse WorkforceSantos acknowledges that we operate on the traditional lands of Aboriginal people.
