Job Description:

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. 

We are looking for a First-Line Sales Leader for our Singapore office and to be part of the wider LinkedIn Talent Solutions Leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of 8-10 Account Directors. Our Account Directors partner with existing customers to renew, cross-sell, and upsell Talent Solutions (Hiring and Learning) by helping our clients realize value across the entire talent lifecycle. Account Directors cover our fastest growing markets in SEA like the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. 

In addition, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy across the three markets. You will also focus on hiring, coaching, and developing your team members.   

Responsibilities:   

  • Lead a world-class, high performing team of 8-10 Account Directors  
  • Demand Excellence through demonstrating best sales practices, coaching (through effective 1:1s), performance reviews, developing and inspiring team members   
  • Has demonstrated success leading sales reps who manage a book of business and have driven hyper-growth (3x in 2 years) across this book of business 
  • Ensure operational rigor with sales activities   
  • Provide sales mentorship to help your reps build CXO level relationships   
  • Communicate goals and bring focus on the most important activities (prioritization)   
  • Foster a positive and values-driven team culture that will motivate others   
  • Manage headcount, forecast, lead meetings, align team to organizational vision and values   
  • Be able to demonstrate collaboration across account directors, CSM’s, product sales specialists, product & marketing teams and provide internal partners intelligence (competitive, industry, market) to form product and business strategies   
  • Identify team challenges and lead training and education to improve rep effectiveness   
  • Establish and manage key industry & business partner relationships via various programs with an eye on commercial growth   
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve our larger objectives 
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:   

  • 10+ years of sales experience   
  • 3+ years of experience in managing sales teams  

Preferred Requirements:   

Leadership   

  • Proven superior leadership skills, entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach  
  • Ability and willingness to coach and provide guidance to team members with the aim of improving the sales skills of the team   
  • Ability to manage and inspire a diverse team  
  • Lead and use data & relevant metrics to prioritize focus areas and instill operational rigor    

Sales & Business   

  • Prior experience selling across Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam market   
  • Proven track record in driving renewal, upsell and cross sell in high growth markets  
  • Commercial experience across a wide range of industries   
  • Strong business acumen   
  • Ability to evaluate business opportunities, make sound decisions and exceed revenue goals
