Your new role

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Lead the promotion of GLP-1 class injectable products in the Mexicali territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key groups of physician specialists in the management of diabetes and obesity.
  • Implement intensive follow-up strategies to ensure the continued prescription of injectable products.
  • Utilize management tools to optimize follow-up and specialist retention.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the interaction of GLP-1 analogues in therapeutics.
  • Consistently meet sales and market penetration targets in the local market.
  • Manage the Mexicali territory with a focus on account management and attention to detail

 

Your new department

You will be part of the dynamic Sales Department based in Torreón, Coahuila. Our team is dedicated to promoting and selling Novo Nordisk’s innovative products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. We take pride in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with our customers, and delivering exceptional results. The atmosphere in our department is fast-paced, collaborative, and driven by a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of patients.

 

Your skills

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Must-Have Skills
    • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of recent experience in cardiometabolic, diabetes, or obesity pharmaceutical sales.
    • Proven and mandatory experience in the promotion of injectable products (GLP-1).
    • Experience in intensive specialist management and post-visit follow-up strategies. - Advanced knowledge of the metrics and audits used to measure GLP-1 market share. 
    • Ability to focus on prescription continuity and retention.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills
    • Previous experience selling oral and injectable products in the cardiometabolic field.
