BMH Electrics Pty Ltd exists to maintain, install and assess electrical assets and equipment for a wide range of customers including land developers, power utilities, mining, display technologies and advertising as well as the domestic market.
Carpenters are responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden/ metal structures and fixtures across a variety of settings. This includes interpreting plans and drawings, measuring and cutting materials, assembling frameworks, and ensuring that all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes all related project works as directed by the site supervisor/project manager/operations manager
- Assists with the responsibility and accountability for installation of all service, equipment and materials utilised to complete work
- Supports tradespeople, contractors and operators with general labouring assistance, by operating hand and power tools and by cleaning and preparing worksites
- Ensures the worksite and associated equipment is clean, safe, tidy and ready for use
- Undertakes and completes assigned tasks with minimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Accurately completing daily timesheets with details of work completed within the timesheet hours
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/KPI's
Essential Criteria (Mandatory)
- Trade qualification Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)
- Current WA carpentry Licence
- Valid drivers licence C, HR/ HC Advantageous
- Construction Industry Card (White Card)
- First Aid/ CPR
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine job requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join timber/ metal and other materials
- Construct, install and repair structures and fixtures
- Operate hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively with other trades and site personnel to complete projects on schedule
Desirable Criteria
- High risk card – WP, DG, LF, CV
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems
- Working at Heights
