Through our partnership with the Omni Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), our Enhancement Team plays an important role in supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming Downtown Miami Omni area for residents, businesses, and visitors.

What You’ll Do

As a Clean Team Crew Member with the CRA Enhancement Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the Downtown Miami Omni area. Reporting to the CRA Supervisor, your responsibilities include:

  • Removing trash, litter, and debris from sidewalks, streets, and public spaces.
  • Performing light landscaping, weeding, sweeping, and pressure washing.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing public areas such as benches, sidewalks, and common spaces.
  • Assisting with graffiti removal, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as power washers, blowers, and small hand tools.
  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Supporting case management services and engaging with community members when directed.
  • Assisting with special projects and community events.
  • Working flexible schedules,including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • No degree required.
  • Valid Florida identification.
  • Ability to communicate in English; bilingual preferred (Spanish or Creole a plus).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.
  • Comfort working outdoors in environments that may not be climate-controlled.
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
