Coach - Baseball, Assistant Coach (Spring) - High School presso Wissahickon School District (PA)

To teach fundamentals, skills, and techniques of baseball. Supervision of athletes in all practice, game, and transportation situations; program development; school/community relations; communications with the head coach regarding parent concerns and to assist with program continuity; involvement in the JV program.

Inventory team equipment and supplies; provide input to the head coach for budget, team transportation and scheduling; assist with PIAA, league and/or school distsrict compliance, record keeping awards when necessary.

Two and half (2 1/2 hours) per day 5-6 days per week, for aproximately 10-11 plus weeks including 3 week preseason - requires evening or weekend obligations.

Ablitity to work with and relate to students of this age group; a continuing effort to expand knowledge and skills in the area through participation in seminars, workshops, and activities in the field; knowledge of coniditioning, techniques and skills of the sport; previous playing or coaching experience. First aid kit, partial oversight of facility conditions, equipment maintennce.

Reports to the head coach, Coordinator of Activities and the building principal.

Salary: Based on experience in accordance with the Profesional Collective Bargaining Agreement.
