RV Technician – Campers Inn RV of Union (Airstream of New England)

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain RVs — with a focus on Airstream trailers and motorhomes.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry work.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure every RV meets the highest quality standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service while educating owners about their Airstream and RV systems.
• Stay up to date on Airstream’s unique features, construction methods, and maintenance practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in RV, automotive, marine, or related repair industries preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot across multiple systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Commitment to safety and delivering quality workmanship.
• RVTI certification a plus — we’ll help you get there if you’re not already certified.

Qualifications

This is a safety sensitive position

Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• License & Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required

Experience:

• A minimum of one year of RV service experience preferred

Abilities: 

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety manuals
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations
• Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
