Job Title: Financial Analyst, Operations & Services Group
The Role
This Financial Analyst (FA) role on the Operations & Services Group (OSG) Finance Team will lead all aspects of monthly reporting and planning, FP&A support, and act as the central liaison delivering insightful financial analysis for FBOT Central, Accounting and our business partners. Their primary objective will be to provide a broad range of analytics, financial management, and strategic business partner support to drive improved outcomes and financial results to the broader organization
This role will focus on responsibilities for the month end close process including the P&L statement, accruals, billing, scorecards, and monthly financial packages. They will build and maintain dashboards, participate in the budget planning process, provide analysis and deep dives, and prepare impactful and insightful financial presentations to share with our leadership teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 2+ years of professional experience in Finance with experience providing senior level support and advanced financial modeling and analysis
- Proficiency modeling data and preparing presentations using Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Think-Cell, Power BI, Anaplan, and data modeling tools a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with Finance and business partners at varying levels of the organization
- Intellectual curiosity
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently to perform most analyses
- Strong attention to detail and ownership for handling large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy

The Team
OSG Finance is a key group under the Funds, Brokerage, Operations and Technology (FBOT) organization who handle over $400M annual expense and is behind every transaction that happens at Fidelity. We provide financial support to central finance, the OSG senior leadership team and our finance partners across the firm. We are focused on P&L forecasting, workforce capacity planning, strategic support for the COO, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis. In supporting these critical parts of the business, the team has broad exposure to and influence on business decisions and processes.

The base salary range for this position is $67,000-127,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
