JOB SUMMARY:
GGS Information Services, a globally recognized technical publications company serving leading manufacturers in transportation, aerospace, construction and agricultural equipment, has an immediate need for qualified candidates to fill an Illustrated Parts Catalog Integrator to be based in the greater Cincinnati, OH area.
This person will be responsible for the researching of engineering data, analyzing effects on technical publications, and creating and/or maintaining Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs) based on the change requests and within applicable guidelines and standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
- Research raw engineering data regarding jet engine parts
- When necessary, work with engineering staff to determine desired publication changes
- Draft changes to IPCs in the form of manual markups of existing pages
- Use draft changes (markups) to make changes to IPCs in the applicable authoring system
- Use of Quality Assurance plans and standard operating procedures
- Manage multiple program schedules, provide estimates, and report metrics
- Must adhere to Standard Operating Procedures applicable to your assigned task(s)
- Engage in quality improvement applications such as Six Sigma where applicable

This position may require the ability to interpret and manipulate manufacturers' and trade catalogs, engineering schematics, and other data relative to operation, maintenance, testing, and service of equipment.
WORKING/SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS:
This position does not have any specific supervisory responsibilities. Depending on skill level, this position may train other employees. All work is assigned on a task-by-task basis, is done independently, and without close supervision.

Requirements
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Requires high school level education plus 4 yrs relevant experience, or Associates plus 2 yrs relevant experience
- At least 2 years of commercial jet engine experience preferred (preferably GE)
- A/P License a plus but not required
- Mechanical Engineering background a plus but not required
- Ability to read, comprehend, and apply service bulletins, change in design packages, engineering drawings, and a variety of other technical support documentation for incorporation into IPCs
- Must be proficient in MS Office and various computer software tools
