Job Description - Overview
Mardel Christian and Education has an exciting opportunity to join their Ecommerce department as a Copywriter. This seasonal, position is responsible for crafting high-quality, consistent, and engaging copy with the opportunity to transform basic product copy into compelling reasons to purchase our products; to tell a curated story as to why someone should decorate, educate, deepen a relationship, encourage & inspire, or grow one’s Faith in God with our products.
While the role is largely content focused, the individual must be digitally savvy enough to work on various platforms and programs as the team’s duties evolve. This position is located at our corporate offices in Oklahoma City. No relocation assistance provided.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Writes compelling and unique copy for print, direct mail, website, internet, and in-store messaging to promote the sale of Mardel products and services.
- Proofreads to ensure accuracy of copy in all mediums, revise as needed.
- Be able to vary language and tone of message based on medium and audience.
- Works with internal marketing and merchandising departments.
- Adheres to brand and corporate copy style and voice.
