Position Specific Description
Our Operating Fleet Sourcing Department within the Engineering, Construction and Supply Chain Business Unit is seeking a Category Specialist to join the team in Juno Beach, FL.
The Category Specialist should demonstrate the following capabilities:
• Interpret spend and market data, forecast demand and trends, and convert analysis into clear recommendations, next steps, and measurable value including cost reduction, avoidance, and rebates.
• Plan and deliver category initiatives end-to-end by managing timelines, dependencies, and risks while maintaining consistent intake-to-award cadence.
• Results-driven approach with consistent delivery of savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk mitigation supported by disciplined reporting.
• Supplier management expertise including market mapping, strategic partnerships, RFx execution, bid evaluation, negotiation of pricing/terms/SLAs, performance scorecards, and corrective actions.
• Strong analytical tool proficiency with the ability to transform datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Job Overview
This role supports the category management function with source-to-pay activities and oversees sourcing related activities to ensure alignment with category strategies. Employees in this role regularly meet with Business Units (BUs) to collect requirements and feedback and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for categories in scope. This role meets with stakeholders on strategy development and regularly participates in cross-functional meetings.

Required Qualifications
