Arthritis Consultants of Tidewater is a patient-focused rheumatology practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care. We are seeing an experienced Medical Biller to join our team.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Process and submit insurance claims accurately and timely
- Review patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Manage Accounts Receivable
- Follow-up on denied and unpaid claims
- Communicate effectively with patients, insurance carriers, and internal staff
Benefits:
- Competitive salary between $45,000 - $50,000 annually (based on experience)

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years medical billing experience required (specialty billing preferred)
- Proficiency with NextGen EMR/EPM system highly desirable
- Experience with rheumatology billing a strong plus
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement practices
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
