This position is responsible for driving process reliability improvement and waste reduction. An ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, provide technical leadership, and troubleshoot complex processes. This role will focus on process improvement and project management to achieve increased process control and a reduction in process variation.

Continuous improvement (5S, process mapping, standard work, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Drive change and overcome obstacles
Utilize hands-on experience in process troubleshooting, real-time production problems for converting processes
Develop and maintain standard operating conditions and production databases for production equipment
Analyze plant data using techniques that can include: Statistical process control, Six Sigma (6σ) DMAIC methodology, and Root cause analysis (RCA)
Provide financial justification for possible equipment upgrades
Develop and maintain a best practices library for processes while ensuring plant compliance
Lead and support cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Product Development) to improve product quality and customer satisfaction
Provide support to plant operations with miscellaneous engineering and capital project management
Analyze/review plant operations to submit quantifiable cost savings ideas while improving cost performance against budget
Lead and assist project teams in implementing, standardizing, and sustaining process inefficiencies while reducing variation
Design, specification, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and improvement of production equipment, modifications, tooling, and various support systems
Coordinate and lead Printpack Continuous Improvement initiatives
