Description
Job Objective:
To support the efficient operation of the warehouse and transportation services by maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment and assisting company truck drivers with the delivery and pick-up of materials. This position reports to Transportation Outlet Manager or Director of Transportation, Facilities and Salvage Operations who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Unload cages and sort materials for proper storage.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Prepare salvage materials accurately for shipment.
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading during delivery routes and at the facility.
- Accompany drivers to delivery and pick-up locations; handle materials manually or with equipment.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor during customer interactions.
- Ensure necessary materials and equipment are available for route service.
- Follow the direction of the truck driver while on delivery routes.
- Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Required Education and Skills:
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Ability to accurately weigh and record material.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability.
- Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to use floor scales, hand cart, and other standard equipment.
