Interventional Cardiologist presso Hmfp

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are seeking candidates for a full-time position in Interventional Cardiology at our Plymouth Campus.  All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Interventional Cardiology, as well as eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure.  An academic teaching appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities will include expertise in coronary and structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the outpatient evaluation of patients as part of the multidisciplinary structural heart team, provide in hospital consultations on the main campus, and attend on the cardiology inpatient services. Expertise in structural heart procedures, particularly transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Pay Range:

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
