Overview:

Provide meeting and conference coordination support for Sammons Institutional Group (SIG). Responsible for all aspects of planning and
execution of external broker-dealer conference participation. Provide planning support for larger SIG events including national, summer and
divisional sales meetings, Regional Vice President (RVP) and Regional Sales Director (RSD) in person and virtual group meetings, home
office meetings and Advisory Council meetings. Partner with Marketing and Compliance to leverage internal and external platforms for event
planning.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Development Group (BDG) by supporting all pre- and post-aspects of broker-dealer conference participation
including: registration of participants, ordering of marketing materials and promotional items, dine around planning, exhibit
documentation and materials, contract negotiation and execution, payment and reconciliation, shipping of conference materials,
coordinating with venue to ensure timely and accurate delivery of conference materials, and executing all post-conference follow up
activity.
• Provide administrative and planning support for larger SIG events, RVP and RSD events, home office meetings and Advisory Council
meetings, such as ordering of marketing materials and promotional items, assembling and shipping of meeting materials.
• Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any
problems that arise.
• Plan and develop programs, agendas, budgets and services according to customer requirements. Review event bills for accuracy and
approve payment.
• Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, catering, dine arounds, signage,
displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security.
• Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays and other event needs.
• Maintain records of event aspects, including financial details.
• Negotiate contracts with such service providers and suppliers as hotels, convention centers and speakers.
• Organize registration of event participants.
• Evaluate and select providers of services according to customer requirements.
• Work with management and venue staff in order to coordinate event details.
• Partner with Marketing and Compliance to leverage internal and external platforms.
• Maintain a positive, customer service oriented approach in all contact with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience preferred
• 3-5 years' financial services experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient use of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Marketing Cloud
• Ability to work independently and establish priorities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient use of PC software (MS Word, Excel, Access, or equivalent)
• Must be detail oriented and maintain organized work area
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• May be required to travel to a company office or location other than your normal workplace for trainings, meetings, conferences or to support business needs.

Suitability Requirements:

• Criminal background check required.
• If the position is in the SIG business unit, Annuity New Business Securities team, or if we are holding securities licenses, FINRA regulations require fingerprinting for this position; if we are holding securities licenses, a credit check will also be required. Management reserves the right to determine and approve incumbent suitability for this position.

Pay Range:USD $39,242.00 - USD $81,755.00 /Yr.Pay Transparency Verbiage:

Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
