Ashley, the #1 Mattress and Furniture retailer in North America, has an immediate opening for a Coordinator, Brand Experience. The Coordinator, Brand Experience, provides essential support to Ashley's brand marketing team, assisting with the coordination and execution of PR campaigns, experiential activations, and philanthropic partnerships. This role focuses on operational support, project coordination, and administrative excellence, ensuring that brand experience initiatives run smoothly while building foundational skills in public relations, event management, and community engagement that support Ashley's cultural relevance and brand transformation goals.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with coordination of PR campaigns, including scheduling, logistics management, and materials preparation.
  • Support day-to-day communication coordination with Ashley's PR agency of record and media contacts.
  • Help compile and distribute press releases, media kits, and editorial content under senior team guidance.
  • Assist with media monitoring activities, tracking coverage mentions, and maintaining organized media databases.
  • Support branded editorial partnerships by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication workflows.
  • Help maintain media contact databases and press coverage tracking systems.
  • Assist with logistics coordination for experiential activations, including venue research, vendor coordination, and timeline management.
  • Support event planning activities such as supplier coordination, material shipping, and on-site setup assistance.
  • Help coordinate integration activities between experiential activations and social media, PR, and digital marketing teams.
  • Assist with post-activation data collection and reporting compilation under senior team guidance.
  • Support creation and maintenance of activation planning templates and process documentation.
  • Assist with coordination of philanthropic initiatives and charitable partnerships under Purpose team and manager guidance.
  • Support logistics coordination for charitable events, volunteer programs, and community service activations.
  • Help track and compile data for philanthropic partnership outcome reporting.
  • Assist with communication coordination between internal teams and nonprofit partners.
  • Support maintenance of philanthropic partnership databases and documentation systems.
  • Maintain organized project files, timelines, and deliverable tracking across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and expense management under manager supervision.
  • Support vendor coordination activities including scheduling, communication, and performance tracking.
  • Help maintain process documentation and contribute to workflow optimization efforts.
  • Assist with calendar management, meeting coordination, and internal communication support.
  • Support communication and coordination between Creative, Social, Merchandising, Interior Design, and eCommerce teams.
  • Help coordinate timeline management and deliverable tracking across multiple departments.
  • Support Legal team coordination for contract reviews and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with Finance coordination for budget tracking and vendor management activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:   

  • 1+ years in marketing coordination, public relations, event planning, or related administrative roles.
  • Experience with project coordination, administrative support, and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in professional business environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
