What You’ll Do

Position Summary

We’re hiring a hands‑on Senior Product Manager to own our most important internally designed and developed software application: Compás. You will be the foundational PM shaping an internal product that touches every clinic. You will own Compás outcomes end‑to‑end: discover and shape requirements across executives, CMO leadership, physicians, and clinic staff; translate them into clear problem statements and PRDs; and partner with engineering and design to deliver high‑leverage, safe, and usable features. You’ll also incubate AI‑assisted experiences (e.g., triage, summarization, next‑best action) in partnership with data science/engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Product discovery & prioritization
    • You’ll work in a lean, engineering-led environment that values measurable impact and rapid iteration over traditional project management
    • Lead customer research in clinics; synthesize pain points by role (Provider, CIS, SW, Front Desk).
    • Convert strategy and executive requests into ranked problem statements with quantified value.
    • Maintain a transparent roadmap aligned with clinical value and operational feasibility.
  • Spec & delivery
    • Author concise problem briefs and PRDs with success measures and UX acceptance criteria.
    • Partner with engineering and design to break work into small, testable increments; run UAT; ship frequent releases.
    • Own release readiness: training assets, change notes, and rollout plans by site.
  • Clinical systems & data collaboration
    • Align Compás features with EMR workflows and HL7/FHIR interfaces; manage dependencies and data quality issues.
    • Partner with Data & Analytics on metric definitions and latency/SLA expectations.
  • AI and safety
    • Define candidate AI features; evaluate safety, bias, auditability; establish feedback capture and human-in-the-loop review.
  • Product operations
    • Instrument usage and outcome dashboards; run weekly triage; prioritize defects vs. features; facilitate stakeholder ceremonies.

What You’ll Bring

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must Have:

  • We welcome candidates with technical, design, or clinical backgrounds who have transitioned into product roles and thrive in hands-on environments.
  • 5+ years of product management (or equivalent) owning outcomes for workflow or operations products in complex environments (e.g., healthcare, fintech, supply chain, compliance, public sector, or other regulated/mission-critical domains).
  • Proven track record of digitizing and automating workflows end-to-end: discovery with front-line users, mapping current/future state, defining acceptance criteria, and shipping iterative releases that measurably reduce time, clicks, or errors.
  • Outcome orientation and data literacy: ability to frame hypotheses, define success metrics, partner with analytics/engineering, and make prioritization trade-offs using evidence (not just requests).
  • Excellent product writing & framing: concise problem statements, PRDs, and release notes that include Who/What/Why, measures of success, and non-functional requirements (privacy, reliability, safety).
  • Technical collaboration skills: comfortable partnering with engineers and designers on API/data-contract discussions, system constraints, and UX flows; familiarity with cloud-hosted web apps (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Risk, safety, and compliance mindset: experience shipping products where auditability, privacy, and change control matter (HIPAA/PHI experience is a plus but not required).
  • Stakeholder leadership: demonstrated ability to align executives and frontline users, run discovery in the field (ride-alongs/shadowing or equivalent), and drive consensus on roadmap priorities.
  • Curiosity about AI and applied analytics: awareness of practical AI/ML product patterns (summarization, routing, recommendations) and how to design human-in-the-loop guardrails.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Direct experience in provider operations or care delivery and familiarity with clinical documentation workflows.
  • Exposure to quality and risk adjustment programs (e.g., STARS, HCC/RAF) or analogous performance programs in other industries.
  • Hands-on familiarity with EHR/EMR ecosystems (Elation, Epic, Athena, etc.), FHIR/HL7, or care-flow/orchestration tools (Awell, Retool, etc.).
  • Experience integrating a data warehouse into operational tools; comfort collaborating with analytics/BI teams.

Education, Experience, Licensure, or Certification Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in STEM-related field, or equivalent on the job experience is preferred
