Job Summary:

The Logistics Specialist works with Client Services, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and External Schedulers to ensure materials ship out of our facilities in a timely manner. They are responsible for creating outbound shipments in our ERP system and managing outbound transactions as needed in our client systems. All work is done in compliance with the procedures defined by the client and in conformance with company policies. This position requires great attention to detail, the ability to follow a process as well as adapt to change as we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities of the Position:

• Communicate schedule status with external and internal departments, prioritizing as needed.
• Create outbound shipments for creative werks facilities
• Provide performance feedback on client carrier partners
• Capable of working in a fast paced, intense environment and meet timelines
• Monitor daily system performance and clearly provide status updates
• Capable of working in multiple systems at the same time
• Participate in analysis and review of operating performance
• Must have the ability to adapt to frequent change.
• Monitor daily production. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong time management, coordination, and scheduling skills
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills preferred (email, Microsoft Office, SAP)
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret company documents.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Food Safety Responsibilities:

• Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)
• Participate in company GMP walks
• Enforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoring

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work between an office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
• This position may require employee to respond to warehouse emergencies outside of normal hours. 
• This position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business.

Physical Requirements:

• Operate standard office equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Lift up to 25 pounds
