Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the evolution of ClearBank’s Banking Portal. This role is pivotal in shaping client-facing digital experiences, driving strategic delivery, and ensuring our portal meets the needs of financial institutions and internal stakeholders alike.

You will own the portal roadmap, collaborate across engineering and design teams, and work closely with clients to co-create solutions that deliver measurable value. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in financial services portals, a strong stakeholder management track record, and a passion for solving real-world client problems.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Define and maintain a 6+ month roadmap for the Banking Portal and associated APIs.

  • Lead portal feature development including safe payees, audit logs, approvals, and multi-currency account access.

  • Prioritise backlog items based on client research, portal usage data, and business impact.

Client Engagement & Solution Design

  • Conduct interviews and feedback sessions with clients to understand portal usage patterns and pain points.

  • Translate client needs into actionable requirements and guide engineering teams through iterative delivery.

  • Collaborate with Client Services and Ops Readiness to ensure portal features meet operational and compliance standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Regularly update senior stakeholders including C-suite on roadmap progress, delivery risks, and client feedback.

  • Present portal KPIs and performance metrics, including availability, complaints, and feature adoption.

  • Align portal strategy with broader product and regulatory initiatives across the bank.

Skills & Experience

Must-Have

  • Proven experience managing client-facing portals in the financial services sector.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including regular updates and an ability to influence executive leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients to shape product solutions.

  • Familiarity with agile delivery, backlog management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of payment rails, transaction search, and financial crime workflows.

  • Exposure to accessibility standards and UI/UX best practices.

Our hiring process and what you can expect:

Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage; 

Screening: You’ll spend 30-45 minutes speaking to one of our recruiters learning more about the role and ClearBank, and we’ll get it know more about you, your experience and how your skills align with the role (this will be via phone or Teams video call). You can expect to hear back from us within seven days following this meeting (if things are taking longer than expected, we’ll let you know that too); 

First Interview: You’ll spend one hour with a member of our hiring team focusing on your skills, competencies and your ways of working at the same time we’ll give you time to ask more questions about the role, the team and learn more about the ClearBank culture. This will be via Teams.  

Second Interview: This will be a competency-based interview with one or more members of our team.

Final Stage: You will have a final meeting with the Head of Department. This will be around 45-60 minutes.
