| Position Summary | Organization: Lew Wallace Elementary School Location: 513 6th St. NW Albuquerque, NM 87102 An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award This job is to work as a reading, writing, and math tutor under the direction of Lew Wallace Elementary Kindergarten-Fifth Grade teachers to provide academic and emotional support through direct instruction, guided practice, and games. Students come in at many levels and being able to give them small group instruction at their level and more adult attention increases their socio-emotional skills and academic success. You may also be asked to prepare or organize tutoring materials. We love working with our students and are seeking tutors who would feel the same way. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress. |
