Job Description:

Owens Community College is seeking a creative professional with outstanding organizational communication and time management skills. Should be detail oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. Will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

• Oversees and develops marketing materials, from fulfillment inception to completion by working with college partners, coworkers and suppliers.

• Assists with visual and written content and creation, including gathering content, writing, and editing for distribution across multiple channels as needed.

• Supports Assistant Director with enrollment, marketing operations, including but not limited to recruitment and retention initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

• Excellent, interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Analyze and measure work with a focus on continual improvement.

• Technology: Microsoft office, Constant Contact, Google analytics, Adobe Suite, Canva or similar design platforms.

• Willingness to learn new software.

• Stay current with marketing and communications best practices.

• Positive outlook, self-organization and self-starter.

• Ability to successfully and simultaneously complete multiple projects and tasks.

• Ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with staff and faculty.

• Ability to be a team player with a flexible outlook.

• Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload, with clear deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion within given deadlines.

• Ability to work with individuals across all levels within the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• Microsoft office

• Customer Service

• College enrollment processes

• Demonstrated marketing experience

• Bachelor’s degree

• Training in marketing communications, public relations or related

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications Google analytics certification
