Join our Group Salaries department as a Payroll Analyst, where you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations across all our current payrolls. This role is designed to support the Payroll Manager and work closely with Senior Payroll Analysts and other Payroll Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to processing timetables across all payrolls.
- Managing the shared mailbox and assisting with ad-hoc payroll tasks and stakeholder queries
- Processing payroll for new starters and leavers, absence recordings, holiday pay across all payrolls
- Preparation and uploading of all overtime and average holiday pay data
- Collaborating with HR to gather necessary data for payroll processing.
- Performing ad-hoc payroll calculations and data changes
- Pensioner payroll processing & checking
- Checking of all monthly input in collation with the Senior Payroll Analyst and other Payroll Analysts in the team.
- Conducting audits and checks, such as part-time employee and National Minimum Wage checks and Anticipated leavers checks.
- Processing pension new joiners / enrolment & postponements.
- Ensuring audit sign-offs on all payrolls.
- Complete distribution of any manual P45s and payslips.
- Adhere to the task timetable for day-to-day processing across all payrolls.
- Distribute P45s and paper payslips to employees.
What you'll bring:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working within a busy payroll department.
- Good communication skills.
- Moderate to advanced level experience with Microsoft Outlook.
- Moderate to advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of payroll systems (experience with Payrite / FMP IRIS is an asset).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
- Ability to work effectively and inclusively with a range of people, both within and outside the organisation.
- Demonstrated determination, resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and a sense of purpose to deliver.
- Ability to adapt to change.

Salary
Circa £26,000 - £30,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
Hybrid working
While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will attend our office in Frating, Essex, up to 2 days per week.
