Description

Job Summary and General Purpose of Position:

The Recruiter Coordinator partners with senior recruiting management, project managers, customers, and recruiting personnel across Kett offices nationwide. This role ensures assigned customers receive exceptional support by coordinating, tracking, and reporting key recruiting activities to help meet hiring goals efficiently and effectively.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership support and serve as the direct supervisor for Kett’s Michigan-based Recruiters.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Recruiter and Senior Manager to assign, coordinate, and oversee recruiting projects and departmental objectives.
  • Track recruiting processes and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Communicate recruiting progress clearly and consistently through reports and meetings.
  • Host meetings with recruiters, internal teams, and customers as needed to align on priorities and performance.
  • Conduct periodic audits of recruiter performance, ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards (e.g., reviewing advertisements, evaluating recruiter efficiency).
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance recruiting processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications


Job Requirements:

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, HR, or recruiting experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

 Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Role involves sitting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods (approximately 8 hours per day).
  • Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and, where applicable, a physical examination is required.
