Driver, Contract Meals Services bei Westside Community Schools

DEPARTMENT:  Nutrition Services - 12 month Full time

JOB SUMMARY:  The Driver will deliver hot and cold food goods between locations in a timely manner .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                

Multiple Tasks Include but not limited to:

• Driving food sensitive deliveries of both non prepared food goods, as well as hot and cold prepared food product to school locations within a specified timed allotted.
• Good time management skills
• Cleaning of kitchen and equipment as required
• Ability to work with school staff, students and community
• Self-directed and managed

• Loading, unloading, driving a cargo van and/or box truck

• Serving catered events

• Completing general kitchen duties as assigned

• Quantity Food Preparation and Production

• Other duties as may be assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

• Ability to communicate well with others
• Ability to take direction from Manager
• Knowledge and ability of cleaning kitchen
• Good driving record 

PREFERRED

• Experience in a food service environment or previous delivery and or driving experience.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (ADA Compliance Regulations)
• Be able to lift boxes or containers weighing 60 lbs.
• Be able to stand on feet to perform job responsibilities
• Pushing/pulling to load/unload bins, trays or boxes on carts up to 400 lbs,110 lb force
