Product Management Senior Specialist presso International Baccalaureate

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of IB’s digital products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, maximizing value, and driving measurable outcomes.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis, assess customer needs, and define product success metrics, while effectively communicating strategy and plans to stakeholders of varying digital proficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product features into user stories, oversee Agile development, monitor delivery, and address risks to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.

• Drive customer-centric practices by capturing early and frequent feedback, analyzing usage data, and prioritizing the end-to-end customer journey in product design.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the department, contribute to process improvements, share knowledge across teams, and represent IB’s products in professional forums and industry events.

Job Requirements: 

About You

• Proven experience in product management, ideally within educational technology or mission-driven organizations.

• Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration with software developers, instructional designers, educators, and administrators.

• Understanding of the global K-12 education sector and the market for curricula like the IB.

• Knowledge of the edtech landscape, including trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in educational products.

• Familiarity with software development processes, UX design principles, and Agile methodologies (particularly Scrum).

• Ability to analyze data to generate insights on user behavior, product performance, and market trends.

• Strong decision-making skills, able to manage operational and tactical challenges, and lead the implementation of policies and initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills, able to convey ideas clearly, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including servant leadership, conflict resolution, and the ability to build trust and credibility across functions.

• Skilled at problem-solving, structuring complex challenges, and making informed, data-driven decisions.

• Focused on delivering customer-centric products and improving digital platforms to enhance user experiences.
