Responsabilidades Principales:

  • Inspeccionar, diagnosticar y reparar motores diésel en camiones, autobuses, maquinaria pesada y otros equipos.
  • Realizar mantenimiento preventivo, incluidos cambios de aceite, revisión de filtros y ajuste de sistemas.
  • Identificar y solucionar problemas en sistemas eléctricos, hidráulicos y de combustible.
  • Reparar y reemplazar componentes dañados o desgastados, como transmisiones, frenos y sistemas de escape.
  • Utilizar herramientas y equipos especializados para el diagnóstico y reparación de motores diésel.
  • Registrar todas las reparaciones, inspecciones y mantenimiento realizados.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y los procedimientos operativos de la empresa.
  • Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, organizado y seguro.
  • Colaborar con otros técnicos y departamentos para garantizar un servicio eficiente y de alta calidad.

Requisitos:

  • Diploma de secundaria (GED) o equivalente.
  • Experiencia comprobada como mecánico de motores diésel o en un puesto similar.
  • Conocimiento avanzado de motores diésel, sistemas eléctricos, hidráulicos y de combustible.
  • Habilidad para usar herramientas de diagnóstico y equipos de reparación especializados.
  • Capacidad para leer e interpretar manuales técnicos y esquemas.
  • Fuertes habilidades de resolución de problemas y atención al detalle.
  • Licencia de conducir válida (preferentemente CDL).
