POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Marketing Automation Engineer to manage, optimize, and support HubSpot and related marketing systems. This role is part of the ISS STOXX Information Technology team and involves close collaboration with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery and system reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Administration & Support
- Manage HubSpot workflows, forms, landing pages, and user permissions.
- Maintain integrations and API connections (e.g., Salesforce ↔ HubSpot).
- Perform data maintenance, cleaning, and verification.
- Development & Automation
- Design, develop, test, and deploy HubSpot solutions.
- Build marketing automation workflows, campaigns, and reports.
- Collaboration & Troubleshooting
- Partner with marketing, sales, and client services to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Research and resolve technical issues within established SLAs.
- Process & Quality
- Ensure adherence to configuration and release management principles.
- Support implementation of third-party solutions and system enhancements.
- Other
- Assist with data imports/exports and integration with corporate systems.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in IT; 2+ years in marketing automation (HubSpot, Eloqua, Pardot, or Marketo).
- 1+ years of scripting/programming (JavaScript preferred).
- Experience integrating HubSpot with Salesforce.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with HubSpot data security model.
- Proficiency in data management and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, XLOOKUP).
- Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
