Position Summary:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for all office and inventory functions of a Peco Foods owned warehouse facility within the West Point, MS Complex. This includes responsibility for all Inbound and outbound orders, Inventory, Customer Service, Personnel, and reporting.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of all office and inventory functions of the facility
- Assure all SOPs are followed correctly
- Report root causes and responsible parties of all inventory and office errors.
- Maintain operational KPIs to track the facility’s performance
- Coordinate with QA and USDA to maintain all Food Safety / Food Defense regulations
- Providing recommendations for improvements in processes.
- Keeping the Shipping Manager and the Warehouse General Manager informed on all aspects of their responsibility
- Coordinating with Sales and other Peco facilities in order to provide the best quality service to our customers.
- Responsible for overseeing proper product rotation.
- Responsible for coordinating with QA regarding hold product
Minimum Qualification
- Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5 years in a Leadership position in a Cold Storage facility or major warehouse/ distribution center
- Computer Skills: Proficient in computer applications with strong technical and data management abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of motivating and guiding teams effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
