As the Director of Operational Excellence, you will be the driving force behind the Masco Operating System (MOS), embedding Lean principles and continuous improvement practices across multiple global sites.

In this strategic role, you’ll partner with leaders at every level to create a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance. Your work will influence everything from safety and quality to cost and delivery, ensuring our operations run smarter, faster, and more sustainably. You’ll design systems that empower teams, leverage digital tools to accelerate improvement, and lead initiatives that make a measurable impact on profitability and customer satisfaction.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Are you a change agent? Lead cultural and process transformation initiatives across multiple sites, fostering engagement and collaboration at all levels.
  • Do you excel at strategy and execution? Drive the implementation of MOS and support sites in executing improvement plans that deliver sustainable results.
  • Are you passionate about data-driven decisions? Analyze operational performance, identify key metrics, and guide teams in achieving KPIs aligned with Operational Excellence.
  • Do you lead with influence? Coach and mentor plant leaders and functional teams on Lean principles, Quality Management Systems, and strategic deployment processes.
  • Are you a continuous improvement advocate? Facilitate training on MOS tools and methodologies, including Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, and Standardized Work.
  • Do you inspire collaboration? Lead cross-functional teams to develop Value Stream Maps and action plans for future-state operations.
  • Are you committed to sharing knowledge? Create processes to capture and share best practices across all manufacturing sites.
     

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in Operational Excellence within global, multi-site manufacturing environments
  • Proven success in transformational process improvements impacting safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies; Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
  • Advanced problem-solving skills using A3, 8D, FAST, 5Why, and similar approaches
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret complex reports
  • Exceptional communication and coaching skills at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Project; advanced Excel skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Willingness to travel

Hiring Range: $133,500.00-$209,770.00
