Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Pest Control Adviser in the Mt View Farming Division, working with staff to utilize sound Integrated Pest Management practices in organic vegetable production. What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field, required.
• Valid California Agricultural Pest Control Adviser (PCA) License, required.
• Thorough knowledge of agricultural pests and their control in organic and conventional systems, required.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and ability to learn internal record keeping and data collection software.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and good analytical skills are a must.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Seasonal overnight travel required.  Estimated at 40% during Fall and Winter months.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

What will set you apart:

• 3-5 years of field experience.
• Certified Crop Advisor (CCA).
• Curious, highly focused, tedious personal nature with the ability to interact with farmers.

Total Rewards:             $68,640 - $90,000 / Yearly Salary

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
