Are you ready to elevate your career? If so, we are looking for a Director, Field Services, for our company located on Long Island, NY. In this role, you will directly manage all of the field service operations personnel and will work in close collaboration with the Installation and Warehouse team to delivery results. You will have full department P&L responsibility and will direct the staff in the areas of service. As the senior leader, you will serve as the single point of contact and accountability for service issue escalation and resolution. Estimated Salary: $120,000 to $180,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.

Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage daily activities of field operations directly, through departmental supervisors
  • Observe, coach and develop service leaders
  • Drive execution and consistent process discipline with operations teams regarding all operations activities, and adherence to established standards
  • Responsible for resolving client/customers concerns, and working with sales partners to meet service deadlines
  • Develop and retain a talented and customer-focused team through goal setting and training employees on processes and procedures
  • Full P&L responsibility, including developing and implementing plan for efficient use of branch resources
  • Work in close collaboration with Hercules and Wash leadership and departments such as Human Resources, IT, Marketing and Finance
  • Create and analyze excel reports to improve workflow and business processes, making recommendations to senior leadership
  • Reinforce culture of safety and ensure all teams are working in a manner that is compliant with our safety standards
  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with Hercules policies and applicable laws

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred; or 5‐10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management courses and seminars a plus
  • Experience managing a multi-million-dollar operation in a service-based business preferred
  • Management experience leading a workforce in the field is preferred
  • Experience working with P&Ls and financial reports
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office. Must also possess a keen technological aptitude to quickly gain familiarity with custom software applications specific to Hercules
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively present and communicate information in group meetings, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to set high standards, hold themselves and others accountable with a track record of building a winning culture
  • Ability to accept and give constructive feedback and feel comfortable having difficult conversations when needed
