Position: Data Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Overview
The Data Engineer will help build and optimize data infrastructure to support the firm’s Data & Analytics strategy under the Chief Technology Officer. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems that enable accurate reporting, analytics, and AI-driven insights across the organization.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, analysts, and architects to ensure high-quality data for analytics and reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, external systems).
- Apply data validation, cleansing, and transformation techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Implement and monitor data quality checks, performance tuning, and governance standards.
- Support modernization efforts aligned with Application Modernization, AI, and Data strategic pillars.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Data Engineering, with deep experience in:
- Data modeling, ETL/ELT, integration, warehousing, analytics, and governance.
- Technical skills:
- Languages: C#, Python, SQL, Java
- Microsoft Stack: SQL Server (IaaS/PaaS), Synapse, CosmosDB, HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Power BI, Fabric
- Other tools: Informatica Cloud (CIH, DIH, CDGC, MDM, DQ), Snowflake
- Strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across time zones (U.S. & Ireland).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Certifications in listed tools (Azure, Informatica, Snowflake, etc.)
- Background in professional services, accounting, or managed services.
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience.
