About our Department:

The goal of the Parking department is to provide adequate parking service by increasing the supply of available parking spaces, enforcement of parking ordinances and maintenance of parking facilities (garages) and equipment.

Parking and Public Transit Control Electronics Mechanic Technician Position Overview: 

This is skilled work of a specialized nature in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic and telecommunication systems at the city's parking facilities. Work involves responsibility for the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic and telecommunication equipment systems used in the operation of the city's parking garages and public transit vehicles.

Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements:

Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or a related field from a college accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and considerable experience in the maintenance and repair of electronic and computer controlled equipment; or any combination of education, training and experience.

Valid Driver’s License
