The Role:

The Vice President, Credit Alternatives Investment Services will play a critical leadership role for the front-office activities associated with Fidelity’s suite of Credit Alternative products including Fidelity’s Direct Lending, private Real Estate, and other private credit investment products with a focus on scalability, accuracy and controls. The VP will work closely with the members of the Investment Services team, the investment teams and various internal and external groups (legal, compliance, technology, Treasurer’s Office, and Fidelity’s middle and back-office teams) to ensure flawless day to day operations.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 0-15 years of investment operations experience
  • Prior experience with bank debt, private credit and financing operations
  • BA / BS degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven track record to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven success in running complex operational workflows in a multifaceted and growing business
  • A deep understanding of Fidelity’s investment and operational support infrastructure and a solid understanding of the private credit markets
  • Experience in leading all aspects of teams / functions that support private credit markets
  • Strong accounting and operations leadership skills, with a compliance or risk management background
  • Detailed knowledge of Fidelity’s front, middle and back-office infrastructure
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • High level of comfort engaging with senior leaders and external partners
  • Ability to work across business units, with peers and leadership to achieve department objectives

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
