The ideal candidate for our Technical Operations Lighting Specialist position is a talented and motivated Outdoor DMX Lighting Installer with hands-on experience in Mosaic control systems and sACN lighting protocols. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, be proficient in configuring and maintaining networking hardware, strong electrical background and love working outdoors in a variety of environments. Experience with QSC systems and Dante audio networking is a strong plus.
Responsibilities

Install and configure DMX-based lighting systems for outdoor environments.

Program and integrate Mosaic lighting control systems to meet creative and functional project requirements.

Implement and troubleshoot sACN lighting data distribution in a live environment.

Configure and maintain networking infrastructure for lighting control systems (switches, routers, access points, etc.).

Collaborate with designer and project managers to execute seamless installations.

Work in outdoor settings in varying weather conditions while maintaining quality of installations.

Ensure all installations comply with technical standards, safety regulations, electrical code and client specifications.

Provide system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.

Assist in other areas of the Technical Department as directed (support to AV Team outside of lighting, if directed)

Drive company vehicles (cars, vans, utility vehicles, non-commercial trucks) to transport personnel and/or supplies

Qualifications
Qualifications

Proven experience with lighting control systems.

Solid understanding of sACN/Artnet lighting protocols.

Strong working knowledge of networking hardware, topology, and configuration.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in diverse environments.
-
Self-motivated with great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
-
Able to hear, see, speak, and write English

Must be able to hear well in a noisy or musical environment
-
Must have required technical capacity and strong problem analysis/solving ability

Must be able to move about, climb, bend, twist, kneel, stoop, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to adjust to outside temperatures ranging from 0 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit with fluctuations in humidity

Must be able to climb and work comfortably in high positions up to 80 feet off the ground

Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings/weekends based on project needs
Preferred Skills

OSHA 10-Hour Training

OSHA Boom Lift Certification

Experience with Audio Instal and QSC audio systems.

Knowledge of Dante audio networking.

Relevant certifications (ETCP, manufacturer training, networking).
