Position:  Elementary School Music Teacher (P646) LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE

Evaluated by:  Principal/Assistant Principal

Location:  Hurricane Middle School

Salary Range: Microsoft Word - Profesional Salary Annual Schedule 2024-25 (core-docs.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance.

Job Description:  The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE Middle School Music Teacher, working cooperatively with other members of the staff, is assigned to deliver a comprehensive music program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.

Qualifications:  Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for music at the grade levels appropriate to this assignment (6-8).

Length of Employment:   2025-26 School Year unless employee resigns or transfers

Responsibilities:  The LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE Middle School Music Teacher shall have duties as outlined in the job description.
