🔧 Shop Manager / Foreman – Honda Dealership

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA 

Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience and performance) 

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

The Shop Manager/Foreman is responsible for leading the technician team, overseeing dispatch and used car reconditioning departments, and ensuring the shop runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a people-first leadership role — not a hands-on repair position — ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and improve technician efficiency and productivity
• Oversee dispatch operations and ensure proper job distribution
• Supervise used car inspections and reconditioning workflow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Monitor and manage shop supplies and inventory
• Enforce safety protocols and dealership standards
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture among technicians
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a foreman or shop management role at an automotive dealership
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Familiarity with dealership systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)
• ASE certifications a plus but not required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
