| Position Summary | The Department of Orthopaedics and
Rehabilitation at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine is actively
seeking a faculty Assistant Professor - Flex Track for the Trauma Division.
Applicants must have completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery, and have been accepted into an accredited 12-month orthopaedic trauma fellowship
program. Applicants must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license in
the state of New Mexico. Consideration will be given to candidates currently matched into an out of state accredited 12-month orthopaedic trauma fellowship that will participate in weekly resident/fellow education via remote participation. Appointment will be commensurate with experience and academic achievement. The ideal candidate will have practice interests in treatment of complex orthopaedic trauma including pelvis fractures, periarticular fracture, non-union and malunion pathology. |
