Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and oversee culinary water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
- Conduct analyses, develop solutions, and implement plans for water resource management, protection of assets, and conservation.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, engineering firms, contractors, and stakeholders to support the delivery of a variety of projects from their inception to final completion.
- Prepare technical reports, develop budgets, and perform easement awareness.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
What We're Looking For:
This position may be filled at one of three levels, depending upon the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. The levels are:
- Civil Engineer (Staff Engineer): Pay Grade N $73,835 to $114,444/per year
- Registered Engineer: Pay Grade P $86,036 to $137,658/per year
- Senior Engineer: Pay Grade Q $93,779 to $150,047/per year
For Experienced Engineers:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field (master's degree a plus).
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a set timeframe.
- Proven experience in water resources, infrastructure design, or a related field.
- Background in long-range planning is a plus.
For Students and Recent Graduates:
- A bachelor's degree in progress (graduation on or before May 2026) or recently earned in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges under the direction of professional engineer.
- Internship or project experience in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
