Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and oversee culinary water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
• Conduct analyses, develop solutions, and implement plans for water resource management, protection of assets, and conservation.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, engineering firms, contractors, and stakeholders to support the delivery of a variety of projects from their inception to final completion.
• Prepare technical reports, develop budgets, and perform easement awareness.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

What We're Looking For:

This position may be filled at one of three levels, depending upon the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. The levels are:

• Civil Engineer (Staff Engineer): Pay Grade N $73,835 to $114,444/per year
• Registered Engineer: Pay Grade P $86,036 to $137,658/per year
• Senior Engineer: Pay Grade Q $93,779 to $150,047/per year

For Experienced Engineers:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field (master's degree a plus).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a set timeframe.
• Proven experience in water resources, infrastructure design, or a related field.
• Background in long-range planning is a plus.

For Students and Recent Graduates:

• A bachelor's degree in progress (graduation on or before May 2026) or recently earned in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges under the direction of professional engineer.
• Internship or project experience in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
