Position Overview
Focused on licensed/experienced adjuster, the embedded trainer is responsible for the delivery of learning content through suitable approaches that meet and exceed the desired outcomes and learner needs. The role drives learner development by actively providing feedback and learner support. The role is designed to be largely embedded as a dedicated training resource to the corresponding line of business/carrier/functional area. Assists in the designing, managing, implementing and evaluating of training programs to prepare high quality and highly competent staff for meaningful contributions in the workplace. This position will work with training programs such as: licensing training, new hire training, refresher training, one-on-one training, and any new training initiatives. This position will partner with the Quality Assurance team to continually identify trends and tailor relevant and successful execution of training programs elevating overall staff performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers accurate, comprehensive, engaging, and impactful training programs for new and experienced desk adjusters
- Ensures that training materials are current and accurate
- Under manager guidance, reviews existing training content and/or programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and/or retention
- Performs assigned responsibilities relating to (including but not limited to) client training, attendance reporting, evaluations, and survey responses.
- Assist learners in troubleshooting technical issues and answering compliance questions as it relates to training
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and implements to maximize learning effectiveness
- Identifies potential detractors and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
- Cultivates partnerships with internal stakeholders (leadership, recruiting, operations) to drive collaborative success
- Supervises learners during the introductory training period
- Ensures effective and compliant classroom management involving HR and leadership when needed
- Establishes credibility with the audience by knowing the content area, providing relevant examples, and linking the material to the audience’s job experiences and challenges
- Evaluates, documents and monitors trainees' performance, through testing and role-plays, determines whether trainees will meet standards to successfully complete the training programs
- Provides hands-on content development support as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Current AZ Adjuster’s License (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year experience in dedicated training/facilitator role
- 2+ years direct experience with claims adjudication preferred. Auto experience strongly preferred
- Direct experience with Guidewire™ software
- Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with others and create a team environment
- Direct experience with LMS administration preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- End-to-end claim handling with full file ownership.
- Experience negotiating comparative negligence claims.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
Pay Range
$32.00-$34.00/hour based on experience.
